Vanna Oil seeks opportunities across the lower 48 states that fit a stringent risk-reward profile and makes sense in both a macro play setting and at the most granular level. Through the years, the management team has employed a strategy where it would instead do nothing and preserve its resources than jump into a questionable situation following a trend set by other industry players. If extensive media attention exists on a particular play and Vanna doesn’t own an asset there already, it most likely never will. Vanna is a seller upon headlines, not a buyer.

25-year track record of procuring and divesting oil and gas leases, mineral and royalty interests, and production in the lower 48 states through his partnerships and joint ventures. Jason has raised over $1.8B of investor capital and commitments through the years. He has had commitments and investments from TPG, Alliance Bernstein, Goldman Sachs, International German Hedge Funds, and domestic Private Family Offices. His most recent transactions included lease divestitures to Halcon Resources (Woodbine) and Terrace Energy LLC (Woodbine). Previously, Mr. Lane sold Rocky Mountain prospects to Bill Barrett Corp and multiple prospects to Chesapeake Energy across the East Texas basin. He also partnered with numerous sizeable independent oil companies and has operated and participated in drilling wells in Texas, Louisiana, Montana, and Wyoming. He has led all of his partnerships since 2002 and has been directly involved in leasing over 650,000 prime acres for his partnerships. Mr. Lane has sold multiple royalty packages in the mineral royalty space to private equity-backed companies, including NGP portfolio companies and Noble Royalties.

Mr. McEachern is a petroleum landman with 28 years experience in U.S. onshore lease acquisition and title procurement. Before joining Vanna Oil LLC, he spent 12 years as Land Manager with JBL Energy Partners directing land efforts in its Woodbine and Eagle Ford projects. In addition, he also spearheaded the land department for the Fort Worth Basin leasing and development program. Prior to his JBL tenure, Mr. McEachern headed his own successful land acquisition and sale venture in the Barnett Shale play divesting of over $30 million in leasehold providing significant returns to investors. He has also held various contract in-house positions with multiple companies, such as Anadarko Petroleum. Mr. McEachern has led numerous teams over the years in several basins for large-acreage leasing efforts, lease management, minerals management, and acquisition/divestiture due diligence. He is an expert in landowner negotiations, lease acquisitions, and mineral titles. Mr. McEachern holds a B.S. in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University. Mr. McEachern grew up in Sugar Land, Texas, and currently resides in Tomball, Texas.

Dr. Bradley Kerr is the President of Vanna Oil, LLC. Dr. Kerr is a registered professional engineer
and business leader with 18 years of professional experience. He has a strong record of success
in operations management, business management, technology development, and expert
engineering services. Prior to joining Vanna Oil, Dr. Kerr established Wildcatter Engineering in
2018 on the foundation of providing “Operational Excellence” to clients. As a subject matter
expert, he provided engineering service, support, and advice for energy sector operations. Dr.
Kerr also engaged in several litigation proceedings where he provided expert opinions that were
utilized in legal actions and pre-trial negotiations. He advised clients during valuation and
capital raise endeavors for producing fields, exploratory fields, and facilities. In addition to
traditional energy projects, Dr. Kerr has developed feasibility studies and economic models for
new technology, green technology, oilfield upcycle, and carbon capture applications. Before
establishing his independent practice, Dr. Kerr held a variety of positions at Anadarko Petroleum
Corporation and Schlumberger. During his tenure at Anadarko, Dr. Kerr held leadership
positions in corporate development and operations management. As a corporate development
manager, he evaluated prospective acquisition and divestiture deals in excess of four-billion
dollars. As a drilling operations manager, he supervised operations with capital investments
exceeding seven-hundred-million dollars per year. While at Schlumberger, Dr. Kerr provided
leadership on multiple technology design, development, and commercialization projects. Dr.
Kerr earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Arkansas, a
master’s in mechanical engineering and doctorate of engineering at Texas A&M University, and
a master’s in business administration at Rice University. Bradley is a native of Arkansas. In
addition to his activities as an engineering and business leader, Bradley is an avid outdoorsman,
instrument-rated pilot and custom woodworker.
Mr. Bailey is a geoscientist with 15 years experience in U.S. onshore exploration, development, and management. Before joining Vanna Oil LLC, he co-founded and is Vice President of Geology for Ops Geologic, LLC, and founder and CEO of Arkatex Energy Advisors, LLC. He also served as the Vice President of Geology for JBL Energy Partners in 2020, focused on the exploration and development of Pennsylvanian sands within the Fort Worth
Basin. Before JBL, Mr. Bailey spent 12 years with Anadarko
Petroleum, focusing primarily on US onshore development programs in the Cotton Valley, Marcellus, Eagleford, Eaglebine, and Wolfcamp. In addition, Mr. Bailey served as the geoscience manager for Anadarko’s Marcellus, Eaglebine, Hugoton, East Chalk, Ozona, and
Delaware Basin assets. He also served as the Asset Manager for
Anadarko’s southern Delaware Basin, where he was responsible for driving the development and business for 55k gross acres. Mr.
Bailey holds a BS and MS in geology from the University of Alabama. He grew up in Conway, AR, and resides in The Woodlands, TX.

Mr. Hull is a geoscientist with 15 years experience in US onshore exploration and business development. Before joining Vanna Oil LLC, he co-founded and is the President of Ops Geologic, LLC, and is also the co-founder and CEO of Longship Energy Partners, LLC. Most recently, he spent 7 years with Grenadier Energy Partners II, LLC serving as Staff Geologist and Partner. His contribution helped Grenadier successfully build a 20k+ acre, 10k+ bopd position in Midland Basin. Before Grenadier, Mr. Hull spent 5 years with Anadarko Petroleum Corp. At Anadarko, he was a Senior Geologist in the East Texas-North Louisiana asset group, which included discovering and developing the CJV Haynesville condensate play. He also spent several years in Lower 48 Exploration. Mr. Hull began his
career as a geologist with Indian Exploration, LLC where he worked the Anadarko Basin. Mr. Hull holds a BS and MS in Petroleum Geology and an MBA in Energy from the University of Oklahoma. He grew up in Daphne, AL, and currently resides in The Woodlands, TX.
